Project Description
The Rotary Club of Palpa Lumbini organized a "Health Camp for Geriatric Age Group" at Shree Shiva Parvati Old Age Home in Syangja. This was the Sixth consecutive year of the annual program of Rotary Club of Palpa Lumbini.
Key activities included:
• Free health check-ups for senior citizens
• Distribution of necessary medicines and Goods.
• Spending time with residents (providing companionship and emotional support)
• Sharing meals with the elderly People
• Touring the facility to identify ways to improve quality of life
The club also donated necessary goods like Lumber Belt, Knee Cap, Horlicks etc and provided financial support to every senior citizen at the home. The initiative focused on holistic care — addressing both physical health needs and emotional well-being. Organizers noted it was a humbling experience, with the biggest impact being the smiles on the faces of the elderly residents
