Project Description

An emergency blood donation program was organized at Balaju Chowk in a joint effort by Rotary Action Group’s Club to provide the necessary blood to those injured during the Gen Z movement.

A large number of blood donors participated in the program held in the presence of Rotary District 3292, Governor Binod Koirala, district officials, members of various clubs and Rotaract members. Of these, 79 points of blood could be collected, but due to difficult conditions, 139 people had to be collected and sent back. There was significant support and active participation from businessmen, police, passengers and local social workers around Balaju Chowk.

Since Rotary is a non-political, humanitarian service-oriented organization, this blood donation program was conducted with the objective of “No one should lose their life due to lack of blood”.
