Project Description
Improved Cookstove Distribution Program conducted on 12th March 2026 under the chairmanship of Rtn. Ram Chandra Adhikari, with the presence of Incoming President Rtn. Gehendra Man Shrestha, First Vice President Rtn. Rajan Piya, club members, and local representatives. A total of 271 households from Gauritar, Chamgha, Khasuwa, Bojapokhari, Ghailaghari, and Ratapur villages in Tanahu, Nawalparasi, and Chitwan districts were provided with improved cookstoves, utilizing the USD 2,000 prize from the Million Solar Panels Challenge.
The activity aimed to promote clean and efficient cooking, reduce indoor air pollution, improve health conditions (especially for women and children), reduce firewood consumption, and support environmental conservation while enhancing the overall quality of life in rural communities.
