Project Description
The Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Tinkune and several other clubs, undertook a community sanitation project in the rural villages of Parbat District, resulting in the construction of 30 toilets for families at the grassroots level.
The project placed particular focus on the most economically disadvantaged Dalit households in Ward No. 3, Paiyu Gaunpalika, Beulibas, Parbat District, providing access to basic sanitation facilities that were previously unavailable to these communities.
In acknowledgement of the club's contribution, Ward No. 3 of Paiyu Gaunpalika issued a formal Samman Patra to the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers, signed by Ward Chairperson Chandra Bahadur Thapa, the Construction Committee Chair, and Chief Guest Toran Malla Thakuri.
Through this initiative, thirty households in a remote and underserved community now have access to proper sanitation facilities, contributing directly to improved health, dignity, and quality of life for the beneficiary families.
