Rotary Model Village Site Visit Initiation

The Rotary Model Village Committee presented a comprehensive outline implementation plan to develop a selected village in Tanahu District as a Rotary Model Village over a three-year period. The initiative aims to create a sustainable, self-reliant, and inclusive community, serving as a replicable model for holistic rural development. By integrating key focus areas such as education, health, sanitation, livelihood generation, digital access, and community empowerment, the Model Village concept seeks to demonstrate how coordinated interventions can bring long- term, measurable improvements in quality of life.

The Board recognized the strategic importance of establishing a Model Village as a living example of Rotary’s commitment to community-centered development and approved the proposal. Accordingly, a dedicated committee was formed to oversee planning, implementation, and monitoring of the project, ensuring community participation and sustainability.
